My name is Dana. I am a child of God and my mother’s daughter. I am a Black, Ivy educated, elementary teacher from Philadelphia who advocates for Black children and equitable education. I am an avid book collector who loves admiring my growing piles of books that are often used for colorful decoration (not so much for reading) and a podcaster who enjoys listening to an array of educational and gossip podcasts. I love obsessing about skincare, doing at-home nail treatments, and watching beauty tutorials, although my beauty routine is limited to a quick brow and red lipstick. I enjoy dabbling in interior design projects, content creation, and pre-loved shopping. I plan to continue developing as an educator after ten years of teaching, finally achieving my fitness goals, and pushing past my emotional comfort zones. I wish to grow beyond my own wildest expectations.
